in short he should come n learn under you

u need PSA (place of secondary assignment) not ppa and stop deceiving people with your headline. by d way, try femtech at Taiwo or Tanke, dey myt be of help

First of all dump that illusion, no jobs outside.
You can try consultancy firms like terrzaghi and the likes. I doubt if you will be paid. Remember you can't be posted to these engineering firms as PPA cos they are private.
My Advice for you is to look beyond the one-year delay program.
Start applying for jobs,
If its Masters, start seeking admission.. You will do perfectly well outside the country.. You can start applying for scholarships in countries like Netherlands, they don't require GRE. Or better still write GRE and TOEFL and seek scholarship to US university ( that's only if u wanna opt for masters)
Better still spend your time in learning Auto card and the likes

All in all, there are no serious civil engineering jobs in Ilorin. No road is under construction, no serious structure
That reminds me you have an option at lower river Niger basin... I think an aspect of civil is water. Let your parents connect you there. Its Federal and it matches your professional.
Summarily look beyond the one year and start telling your uncles about your desperate need for job. Don't wait until few months to d end of Nysc or after. What did I say DON'T WAIT TILL THE END OF NYSC

@Wizbanky, i'm in need of a PPA, it's a plan B to wherever NYSC might post me by friday. As usual, NYSC postings are always to a place where corp members will be redundant. So I plan to seek for rejection at my NYSC ppa, if I get a place before friday.
