Similarly, Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, another leader of the group at a press conference urged Nigerians to get ready for another determined protest.

Why are you expecting "supposed slaves" to protest against their master's decision? Must Yoruba people do it for you lots everytime

NADECO/ AFENIFERE against Abacha was mostly a yoruba set up .

When Turai was knocking Jona on the head like a child, same Yoruba SNG led the protest to free him ( that should have been the pointer to how much of an IB he would turn out to be) and led a march to the NASS which enabled him to take his constitutionally approved position....

Now it is the time of another set, Yorubas won't do jack..

Get your people to fight this, put their money where their mouth has always been or they are only good for issuing ultimatums & disturbing public peace ?

They were never human rights activists to start with. They did their bit just like any other human being with the progress of the nation at heart. The only difference is that they have more influence, reach and probably more determination to right wrongs than any of us.

You can be that person too, start today. I won't join you though, cos I don't believe in protesting this time. I understand the situation and it's different from Jonathan's time when subsidy monies were shared like gala amongst our fantastically corrupt politicians.

The reason for the protest at that time was not only for removal of the subsidy, it was mostly that we didn't trust what they would use the money for. In essence, we didn't trust the govt /jonathan to take care of the masses over his own corrupt team. Recent events have been proving us right.

Besides, the NLC and TUC at that time that met the govt, most likely were bribed

Regardless how we all in in all regions of the country, you have very right to protest and #OCCUPY accordingly just like the SW did back in 2012, but the mostly aggrieved today are the ipobs, IPoDs, wailers and anti Nigerian elements and they still can not muster any courage to get off their lazy asses to protest or #OCCUPY, they still need the superior courage and #OCCUPY experience of the SW folks to speak, protest, aggrieve and #OCCUPY for them...
