This happened to me on whatsapp two days ago.

I highlighted over 100 messages in a WhatsApp group and forwarded it to the same group, only 12 messages of the forwarded message delivered.

Since then all my messages on WhatsApp stopped delivering, I couldn't reply messages, I couldn't send any message to any group, to anybody. It happened for two days. I rebooted my phone, I switch off and ony data and airplane mode, nothing happened. It remained the same, and I was still receiving messages, but couldn't reply.

I even used WiFi network on campus, it still didn't work. This means it wasn't my network problem, it wasn't my phone problem because other chat applications like bbm,Viber etc were all working fine.

It was WhatsApp servers that blocked my contact temporarily to prevent me from attempting to spam.

This implies that I am being monitored by whatsap. They might not see my messages but they know the frequency with which I send messages.

If you don't believe me , try it yourself. If you belong to a WhatsApp group, highlight over 50 messages and forward it to the same group. Let's see if WhatsApp servers block you or not.
