Nothing wrong with that. Native wear and native language. If you no like, enter Lagoon.
Madam take it easy. I am Yoruba also. I have seen people wear agbada to Beach. I have seen people wear ankara to a water fall. I am not against speaking your language and dressing but there should be different styles of clothing for different occasions. It's not my business actually

Who be madam?
I do agree with the bolded, but what style do you think would have been appropriate for Amosun to wear for this event? Please don't say jeans and shirt.
Granted, Amosun and the soldier should have worn a hard-shell construction helmet.

Exactly! Putting on Ankara in that kind of place is risky. That building is still fresh and anything could have happened while he was there. There is a mode of dressing when visiting construction sites especially newly collapsed ones. He should have taken lessons on what to wear from Adams Oshiomole's dressings. That would have made more sense.

Yoruba governors are working!!

Amosun and our orobokibo governor, Ambode are the most active Yoruba governors till date.

Amosun thank you for being so proactive and quick with your reaction.

So your stupid God of Karma destroyed a building in revenge for the Governor enforcing a State Law?

Did it occur to you that if a Church couldnt be in a residential area, a Cinema or Library or any other commercial business couldnt be there as well?

You just renewed your subscription for Foolishness.

Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun is pictured at the site of the building collapse. Efforts are being made to clear out the rubble. Construction engineers have confirmed that 16 workers were inside the building at the time of the collapse.

Dear Governor late last year you ordered that a multi million naira church auditorium under construction at the roof level, belonging to a parish of RCCG to be brought down because its in a residential estate
As a smart Governor that u claim to be you could have turned the auditorium to a cinema, a libary, an e - centre or any reasonable structure that will benefit the society,
But out of wickedness and annoyance you acted a fool
Now this is happening to you...
ITS CALLED KARMA!!!
Pple like u ehhhhhn..mtscheeew....Religion has taken away your common sense...my own God loves orderliness..or is it right for a church to be situated in a residential area?? Before I left naija some months ago,I could hardly sleep every Thursdays and Fridays cos two churches in my street hold vigils on those days respectively...lets not even talk of the daily early morning sound from the mosques ...A residential area is what it should be,nothing more..what should a cinema be doing there....having said that..u said karma is visiting the governor...did any of the governor's family die or got injured?? Instead of u to lay the blame on some incompetent contractors,u r here displaying ignorance and abusing a governor who would never mean bad for his people....pity

The igbo pple and Ijaw pple and their leaders are problem of Nigeria at large. They collect monthly allocation instead of building, construction and educate their people, they trained them for militants activities. I cannot blamed them bcs SE and SS are generation of Judas. No matter what FG give them they can never grow as SW. Lagos is their london and America that why Lagos is full of them. Their state remain backward undeveloped state. I will thank you for developing our land for us...SE and SS are d loser of all
