Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday released a pictorial breakdown of how much the federal government plans to spend on key projects from the N6.06 trillion budget.

Some of the key sectoral allocations include Power and Works and Housing N456.93 billion; Transportation N202.34 billion; Defence N443 billion; Interior (including Police) N513.65; Education N403 .16 billion.
Others are Health N250.06 billion; Agriculture and Rural DevelopmentN75.80 billion; Solid Minerals N16N16.73 billion; Youths & Sports Development N75.79 billion; Water Resources N53.30 billion while Special Intervention Programmes got a vote of N500 billion.

I think they truly care from from the utterances of PMB, VP Osinbajo, Kachikwu, and Fashola. You get that feeling of sincerity to the Nigeria project when they speak

Good, if implemented to the letter and avoid leakages. But then, we deserve to know the definition of "special interventions" in the real context of it.

The govt is only trying to broaden your mind. This is very good for a nation like Nigeria. Pple need to know how govt works. Knowledge is power. The political landscape in Nigeria today, has thrown up alot of questions. More Nigerians are beginning to participate in political matters, though with divers reasons.
With this kind of information, it's a matter of time befor pple start asking the right questions. By breaking down the budget for all to see, the govt is simply asking us to mark their script at the end of the budgeting year. What else can one possibly ask for.
