Please, Sir, Age has nothing to do with wisdom or intelligence. I don't know how old you are, but you are still a "kid" in the eye of lots of people way older than you. How would you feel if they say you shouldn't quote them?
Someone born in 1998 is 18 years old now. Are you saying you can't learn a thing or two for someone who is 18 or 17? Are you saying someone who falls under that age grade doesn't match up to your level of wisdom, knowledge and understanding? You really need to go to institutions of learning and see young brilliant chaps doing great stuff. I have a kid bro who falls within that age grade and I have learned a lot from him and I am still learning from him.

Mark _Zuckerberg got the idea for _facebook when he was 19. At that age he was still a teenager and that's what people with your mentality would call a kid that shouldn't be quoting them on a social media platform.

I know a girl on Nairaland that already reasoned like a highly intelligent adult when she was 17. You wouldn't even know she is that age until you ask her. In science and technology section there are smart teenagers there who fall into this age grade who just want to learn and exchange knowledge.

Why do we in this country price ourselves as so important just because we have reached a certain age and then we look down on those who are younger than us? You guys really need to go to websites like _Reddit and see how 15 year olds comment intelligently and interact well with those older than them.

Social media isn't just meant for old people. Social media is just a sub section of the real world, it's just like saying someone who is 17 shouldn't talk to you in real life. We are all learning, irrespective of our age. You shouldn't downgrade the worth of someone just because of their age. You shouldn't deprive someone the freedom of self expression just because you are few years older than them.
