There is never a dull moment here in this thread. Well I recently initiated my sister into Kdrama world starting with Boys over flowers and she got hooked instantly. She just finished watching MLFAS and is constantly bugging me on the next Kdrama to watch. Meanwhile she keeps humming BOF ost (Lucky) so much dat am beginning to find it annoying. Anyway can someone please help me recommend a drama?

if she liked boys over flowers maybe she might like other high school/university drama's like high school love on,school 2015 ,heartstrings ,the heirs ,playful kiss,what's up ,dream high

lol those are are of my favourite dramas and um just 2 years in kdramaland. anyways i guess im the only one who hates bof, i couldnt get past episode 3 and just ended up downloading the soundtrack and watching only parts with kim bum and kim so eun which was a complete waste of time by the way since they didnt even get a decent kiss scene.

Okay, i hope they are showing some juju there

Episode one of mirror of the witch was pretty intense with all the dark magic and killing,I'm not sure if I should believe that dark magic can transfer pregnancy from one woman to the other but its dramaland and anything can happen.

Episode two was heartwarming with the appearance of the two lead,it feel so good to see yoon shi yoon after 3 years and he is still friggin' hilarious,check him out in that female hanbok.

15 years age gap or not I love the chemistry between yoon shi yoon and kim sae ron,that scene in the picture below is my fav episode 2 scene lol..... He actually blushed,he is so precious.

I'm not a saeguk fan but this is the second saeguk that gat my attention and I'm gonna stick with it to the very end.

P.S: joon's encounter with the tiger was a crazy brush with death,I wonder how he didn't wet his pant coz I would have but thank God for that broken mirror he took from the palace.

YaY! I got a new kdrama girlfriend at my workplace. she was pissed that I spoiled empress ki for her (didn't know she hasn't finished it,told her the King,emperor and Tal Tal died,lol).
We had an argument about the most handsome actor in empress ki.She said Tal Tal is the most handsome and I said Wookie.what do you guys think?not saying Tal Tal isn't handsome...he wins in the voice department while Wookie wins in the face dept.
But the babe na JJC for kdramas and k celebrities info.she doesn't know that I read k entertainment sites like CNN,lol.
she talk say Lee min ho begged park shin hye to be his gf but she refused,lol.I was like ...girl,seriously? where did you read that one?
Anyway I gave her DOTs and she is fangirling over Joong ki,i was like..girl,back off..he's mine.Her favourite actor is LMH but she may change her bias soon,lol.

I love joong ki he is just so cool who do u think is d most handsome guy in Dots joong ki or Dr Daniel

Yay, the drama looks so good based on you review oo, gonna check it out today.
Talking about that juju thing, it happens a lot in shows, not only in dramaland but also in Hollywood, i've seen those parts a lot in shows before..

Jinu is pitiful, poor boy. but that jin young girl is getting on my nerves, she'll do anything to get her way, jinu is just recalling what happened at that night..

What i wouldn't want to see at this side of the drama is the friendship between jinu and haneul, it would be so annoying if the director do this type of rubbish, because no matter what happens i don't think jinu is going to reveal the truth, he wouldn't want to set his own career at risk..

He really likes seok ho, and seok ho doesn't seem to hate him too, did you noticed that he cried after he got a text from seok ho, he's scared and loneliness is striking him really bad

*sigh* my own opinion: i think seok ho should crush the whole jackson all together and save jinu from joo han and ceo lee, and move on to sign him as the fifth member of ddandara group, just kidding we all know that's not possible

i can't get enough of YEO JIN GOO's voice in JACKPOT, his voice commands a lot of power for his age.

hahahahaha, he sure deserve another fan girl. his voice is all in one and it compliments his character in the drama, please who knows what ost was playing towards the end of ep 7 when BAEK freed the slaves.

no to friendship between ha neul n jinu, theres already enough bromance in the show but knowing kdramas they'l make ha neul n jinu become friends while trying to take down jin young n her cohorts, since they even have seok ho in common, its a given .

by d way the crush that baby daddy has on min joo is so cute, and i almost died with laughter at the speed with which kyle exposed geurin n haneuls relationship to the drummer guy

Lol.You don't like bof?you must really have a unique taste.I agree with you,those dramas you mentioned are good but I don't think a beginner would like them.if my sis had recommended those dramas for me then,..that would have earned her a dirty slap from me.Lee min ho's handsome face got me into kdramas and I'm not ashamed to say it. imagine recommending reply 1988 for someone who hasn't watched a kdrama before (oh and Bo gum was not the lead in that drama,so...go figure.the drama is interesting anyway)The person would just kill you silently and dispose your body when no one is looking, lol.

Not saying that I watch dramas for handsome actors only.There are actors like Lee seung gi,joo won etc who are not considered very handsome by many but I've watched almost all their dramas.That's because they got tons of charisma to back it up.Then there are actors who are not handsome and at the same have no ounce of charisma. Watching dramas with those actors makes me yawn loudly..and I don't watch pass ep 1 of their dramas.
And again,there are a group of actors that are a NO GO AREA for me..I don't even dream or consider watching their dramas.Those are dramas with potbellied ahjussis.If I want to watch an ahjussi with a potbelly.. I'll go watch his movie instead.At least movies are 1 or 2 hrs long.Watching them in 16 episode or 20 episode dramas,which are approximately 16 or 20 hrs would give me a serious heart attack.
I'm really sorry for saying this(I'm shallow,I know) and sorry for the long essay.

in earlier pages, we gave accounts of how we started.

I started watching kmovies(2007) first before kdramas(2010).
first kdrama was boys before flowers. But I cant go back to watch it lol.
had a friend who loved Asian movies and that's how I got interested in kmovies. As for dramas, I have no idea. I just stumbled on buying d BOF CD from the market and the rest is history. The amount of dramas I watch in a year has become sickness.

I started watching k drama's 2013 the first k drama I watched was boys over flowers .my friend started gisting me about it later on she told me dat dey don't speak english. I didn't want to watch a movie dat they don't speak english but d storyline was interesting so I decided to try it out and since then I also became addicted I started watching it with my sisters

I started with kmovies a long time ago and that was around 2005 or 2006, at that time i bought an asian film collection, and i realized that one among those movies was Korean movie, then later saw few episodes of jumong in 2008, i got addicted 2011 with warrior baek dong soo..
