NASU SHUTS DOWN O.A.U.!!


The Non-Academic Staff Union of Obafemi Awolowo university have gone on a 6 week strike to protest the sudden increase in the price of PMS; also known as petrol.
One of the members of the union who insisted on anonymity claimed that things had been hard for them and to increase the fuel price at such a time was heartlessess which they would protest with the last drop of their sweat.


He said -" This is heartless and callous for the government. This is the worst time for this kind of thing to happen. We will fight it. We will fight it.


One of the students, Sunkanmi Ojedokun (names witheld) lamented the action of the Union.
"The freshers have not resumed since last year. This is not a good time to strike Iike this. I'm tired of this school oh. But let the government find something to do.

The strike action embarked upon by Nasu is said to begin after the general NLC strike. Our correspondent also learnt that the strike may mean a postponement of the resumption of the fresh 100-level students who ought to have resumed since October 2015.
