alizma: A new version of a particular OS usually brings new features, user interface, and solves existing problems associated with the old one. Sometimes a new OS might even remove a well liked feature. Let me give you an example: before Lollipop, the app drawer for stock Android had this transparent effect that let you see your wallpaper. But when Google released Lollipop, they replaced the transparent effect with a book bland white background that isn't eye friendly at night. They also removed the horizontal page scrolling for icons and replaced it with vertical scrolling. Check Wikipedia, you'd see the change log for each version of Android. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

Just think of them as different themes on your phone with more or less options to change how your phone looks and operates. |

New os fixes bugs in old ones...tecno c8 as case study comes wt lollipop... It hangs a lot because of the 1gb ram especially when multitasking..but when I upgraded it to the marshmallow..it is now perfect..I can run 20apps underground wtout stress and it has other improvement in security and others..it generally improved d outlook and design and also speed with other exciting features..thank you... 5 Likes |
