Niger Delta Reply Cameron & Dailymail:'UK Is Fantastically Corrupt Country' by obiremy(op): 3:40pm On May 16, 2016
Niger Delta People's Movement has replied recent statement by British Prime Minister, David Cameron where it describing Nigeria as fantastically corrupt. In the statement titled "The unguided statement by Mr Cameron and Daily Mail of UK: a question of morality," the movement described UK as the most fantastically corrupt Nation for protecting looters and holding on to the funds. Read statement below;

The Niger delta people's movement deeply wishes to express her total displeasure over the unguided comments credited to the British Prime Minister Mr Cameron during the anti-corruption summit in the UK.
We wish to state categorically that, Mr Cameron's comments was shameful and aimed at encouraging Nigerian thieves within his country. So if there is any "fantastically corrupt Nation" it is the UK and her Prime Minister.
From the inception of President Buhari's administration, he forwarded two bills to the National Assembly, the bills are Money Laundering Prevention and Prohibition Bill and the Mutual Legal Assistance in criminal matters 2016. The latter seeks to obtain more international legal assistance in criminal investigations, recovery and forfeiture in respect of money laundering cases, and " the restraining of dealings in property or freezing of assets that may be recovered, forfeited or confiscated". Nigeria has mutual legal assistance agreements with the United Kingdom.
The Niger Delta People's Movement further states that the United Kingdom is the most fantastically corrupt Nation for protecting looters and holding on to the funds despite the agreement with her.
May we also remind the British PM that the Emeriji panel of inquiry that was set up by Governor Nyesom Wike couldn't indicate the Hon Minister of Transportation Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for lack of substantial evidences.
The Hon Minister challenged the Governor to charge him to court if he is sure of his allegations. That matter has died a natural death.
There is nowhere in Nigeria that, Amaechi was dubbed "ATM". Rather the Minister has been at the forefront for transparency in governance and war against corruption.
We challenge the British Prime Minister, the Daily Mail Newspaper to make public any looted fund stashed by Amaechi in his country or anywhere and stop tarnishing the good image of Mr Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.
Finally, the Niger Delta People's Movement wishes to remind the UK Prime Minister and the Daily Mail that, it has to a question of morality, in respect to the mutual legal agreements. Britain should return our looted money stashed in their country, like they shamelessly the stolen Benin bronze sculptures known as Ahianmwen-Oro and Egogo, also known as the ibis and the Bell. Hopefully Okukor bronze sculpture will be returned.
We thank the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Hon Minister of Transportation for their steadfast war against rogue countries and looters of the Nation's Commonwealth.
Signed:
For Niger Delta People's Movement
