SUBSIDY: Let's ask ourselves the following pertinent questions: (1) when we hear of people sleeping overnight at various petrol stations, does this include the Rich men and women in our society? the answer is NO.... (2) when we heard of people purchasing dollars at the Central Bank of Nigeria at government rate ,Does this include the poor men and women in our society? The answer again is No. (3) When we sell our hard earned dollars and other foreign currencies to the Black Marketers, we all engage in it,True or false? The answer is True... (4) In our economy,Is it correct to say the rich are getting richer in our society and that the poor are getting poorer True or False? True of course! (5) in any of our elections,it is correct to say the generality of the voters are mostly the poor and that majority of the rich does not even register to vote. (6) Is it true to say that most travellers on our dilapidated roads are the poor and that most passengers travelling in the air are the rich,True or false? The answer again is true.. (7) Is it a statement of fact that President Mohd Buhari won majorly because of his integrity and not because he was the most educated or the richest in the country..True or False? The answer again is True. ( Is it true or false that the majority of the people who voted for President buhari are mostly the talakawas and the poor? This is also true...(9) That, The Ship owners, fuel marketers, fuel importers, and the rich men and women are living fat at the instances of the poor...True or false (10) Do you imagine that President Buhari led government is not sensitive to the plight of the common man in Nigeria and would wanted to inflict further injuries on them..? The answer is capital NO! The way forward is to tactically close these ranks and to reposition this country in a way to restructure our economy to better our tomorrow. The worst to be hit by this new policy is the corrupt rich and the cruel major players in oil and gas. In the long run, the society will be a better place for us all. Let no one who has his or her kids in public school push us to go on strike to prolong our children school days in the name of strike, cause us wounds to be treated in locked up hospitals while they tactically fly out to treat themselves. Our stocked food will finish with time, theirs would last them for they have larger kitchens than ours. Let's think twice, if they have their way they wanted retention of cellular phone against the now common GSM... They would not easily Favour up-liftment of our highways or show interest in the return of Nigeria Airway or the coming of modern train. How I wish we think twice on the introduction of this new policy and say NO to Strike |

Non of the above. It is neither disappointment nor blessing. Those of us who know Buhari as a man who cannot offer what he doesnt have were not disappointed. Those of us who are already blessed by Oluwa, dont need this type of blessing in disguise from Buhari. So long as I am concerned, Buhari's govt is the punishment of God on a people that are greedy and insatiable. A people who asked God to give them a wicked emperor when God gave them a meek and humble man as a leader. |

Highbhee:Stop fooling your entire generation with this your zombies fallacy. The wise ones know that only the rich can import fuel. What the government just did , was to shift the burden of fuel subsidy to the large number of poor masses. A good and sensitive government will not do that rather make sure even the masses must not for the subsidy. When someone lost his or her of sense reasoning as human, life is not worth living. Since election of this government, name two or more policies made by them that favours the poor masses that voted for them? No electricity but pays higher than previous govt, Fallen value of Naira, inflation of all goods used by the poor, very high standards of living mostly for the poor, the negative lists are enormous. Note this government was voted in to make lives better than previous govt. but reverse is the case . |
