These people are protesting in favor of deregulation not because they know the economic advantage of deregulation of PMS but, because it is Buhari . Assuming it's a southern president, they would be be protesting in opposition to pump price hike. That said, I am a southerner, a critic of buhari administration, support deregulation because that's the best way to go. I also advise that naira be completely floated to boost economic development. If he had floated naira earlier, we might have avoided some of the mess the country is in at the moment.

These are truly zombies, northern Nigeria has a long way to go.

Is global financial crisis for Oil producing nations, is not Buhari is d economy.

Crude @$100x2,000,000=$200 million.
Crude @40x2,000,000= $80 million

Why are we importing fuel to run our economy for years instead of building a refinery to stop importation and refine locally, a nation with crude.

Pls be informed, start now to be preparing , because by tuesday night "Nigeria Labour Congress(NLC) and Trade Union Congress(TUC)" will lead us to nation wide strike, if the fuel price is not reduced to it formal pump price of 86naira. So begin now to arrange yourselves because nobody knows when the strike will come to an end because we have Hard-mind government nowadays oooh.. They no send us oooh. And remember that Banks will be on strike too even markets according to NLC and TUC , they even advice in the news this afternoon that people should start planing and store foods and all they will need during the process because they promised that Nigeria will completely be "shot down" during the strike, and don't trust ur ATM because, once the bank is not receiving any money ATM will surely not be paying. It only be writing (temporaly unable to dispense cash) pls send to your love ones to save them from suffering in case if federal government did not reduce the price and they say strike should proceed.

Men,when the masses are in support of Government action, this is what you see, these people were not brain washed or coerced to stage a protest in support of the Govt action..they simply know their leader meant well for the populace. This is democracy for you.

Most people erroneousl think an average Hausa/fulani man is not informed politically. Well, opposite is the case, an average hausa/fulani man is well informed than most educated people politically. You will observe that a mallam in his shop or farm is always with a transistor radio, and on the radio he is listening to the current happening in nigeria and beyond in his native language and not english. The same way you listen to news analysis in english is the same way he listens to such in hausa. There is BBC hausa service but i doubt if there is igbo, yoruba, tiv, ijaw etc services on BBC. Hence under rate an average hausa/fulani man politically at your peril.
