This single act by the FG should tell you that they want to Chain Nigerians. Why would they go to court over a PLANNED STRIKE?

Who is Advising this Man for God's Sake? FEDERAL GOVERNMENT taking NLC to COURT? This must be some kind of Joke. So who is scared of who?

I can truly now confirm that this Govt. is shameless.
Muscling NLC with a court injunction to jettison the planned strike!!!!!

This is a new low.

Even such low were not practiced during the military era using the court as a weak appendage to foster the bond chain fettered to the necks and the yoke upon their shoulders.

The FG in connivance with the AGF intend to force on the citizenry this hardship.

This action simply shows that this Govt. is tyrannical in nature and abhors democratic process to dispute resolution.

The people must have their say, the majority their way.

#OfficialAPC=Chain.

No wonder so much money was allocated to the ministry of Information and culture as they know that anti-people policies would be a recurrent decimal in this Govt. hence the need to help launder its image.

Am sure this is to weaken the resolve of the NLC, create a false representation and discredit the true reason of the strike in disguise that even the masses prefer and they are in support of the price hike in petrol.

This is a poor job.

Even though am in support of the removal of the subsidy, the owner of the policy must do the job of convincing and debating the policy thrust, with detailed plans on what would be saved from floating refined product prices with the exchange rates, where will the savings be applied and how to monitor the investment such savings will be channeled into.

Honestly admit their failures, clearly explain their sacrifice and demonstrate to the citizens what they intend to do differently if the people accept the new price regime and show commitment to drive the plans from the top. In other words they must show immense responsibilities for the past and present roadmap to getting us out of this woods.

Do not bully the people into accepting this bitter pill, debate it by calling a joint session of the house of assembly and let the proponents of no subsidy removal argue their case against the president simple.

This chicken government.

When they arrest a suspect, they rush to court to obtain remand notice to keep the person perpuatually without trial.

Now they introduce harsh economic policies and rush to court to prevent civil society groups from going on strike.

Tantamount to flogging a child and asking the child not to cry. Nigerians in it.

What a chicken government !

Re: FG Drags NLC And TUC To Court Over Planned Industrial Action by playtheblues(f): 2:07pm On May 17, 2016
This is the reason why Buhari made his lopsided appointments. Now he has the control of all sectors of the economy: judiciary, police, Nigerian army, Immigration, Customs, INEC, EFCC, name it.

Let us stop fighting. Let us hand everything over to God. God who did it for us with Abacha can still do it again.

I am out of here.

Bye Nigeria.

One of the best moves so far by this administration. No need to burn candles on mid-night meetings. Just tell the court to keep prolonging the judgement. CHANGE all the way.... #iSupportSubsidyRemoval

We don`t need the strike..NLC should go to hell. She has failed the Nigeria people and we have lost confidence in her. They are other things to fight for like; Workers` right, Casualization of Nigeria workers.

Singing #Somebody Sai Baba#
Congregation: #Baba#

Nonsense. Where was the useless court and the AGF in 2012. We have officially entered one chance. Now we will know if we have a Man or a Woman as d NLC chairman. The strike must hold. it is our fundamental right to protest peacefully against oppression and every threat to life.
