They don't even know why they are even there in the first place they think it is GEJ VS PMB, HAUSA/FULANI VS IGBO OR SOUTH SOUTH but no it Buhari vs the NLC, TUC, CSO and the Nigeria masses so all we are saying, is LET THE STRIKE START NOW.Thanks.

These people are protesting in favor of deregulation not because they know the economic advantage of deregulation of PMS but, because it is Buhari . Assuming it's a southern president, they would be be protesting in opposition to pump price hike. That said, I am a southerner, a critic of buhari administration, support deregulation because that's the best way to go. I also advise that naira be completely floated to boost economic development. If he had floated naira earlier, we might have avoided some of the mess the country is in at the moment.

These are truly zombies, northern Nigeria has a long way to go.
ss and SE protested in favor of subsidy removal in 2012, can we now say all this about your people? You have a long way to go.

I am sure most of these guys are not aware that the small money they collected for this outing will surely be taken from them in hundred folds through various means. by the time they realise that, their wailing will be greater than that of the current wailing Wailers.

then , the people doing it now are right. They didn't trust Gej so, they resisted the move. They now have someone they can trust at the center.

60% of these people will not know why they are protesting
all they might know is that they were protesting in support of Buhari.

Even if Buhari leads Nigeria to chaos, he shall still be getting their votes, so long as it amounts to north retaining power at the centre.

Time to start listening to Nnamdi Kanu.. 2012 SE/SS supported subsidy removal. The whole of North and SW resisted it vehemently. Now 2016, North is supporting Subsidy removal, SE/SS stay indifferent but as usual SW is resisting it. When Obj tried to remove Subsidy in 2005-07 SW scatter everywhere while the others stay aloof. He privatized refineries they oppose am... Naija people sef. Some are perennial opposition.. If govt. Choose to increase salary sef they will still oppose it... Some their own thinking no pass na my pikin mentality

This is the best opportunity ever for government to do away with subsidy. If you have the entire north and the south west on your side, you can achieve almost anything you want in Nigeria.
Count me out of your "Southwest" please.

Na wa for this country. The same people protesting to beg are supporting a govt that made a decision to make their lives more miserable. I am not surprised, one of their elites must have given them money as usual to go on the street . Well beggars have no choice. After the protest, they go back to their begging business.

The stereotype of the 'Stupid mallam' is constantly being challenged...how can these so called 'uneducated Almajiris and Talakwas' realize that the removal of fuel subsidy will be beneficial to them on the long run, but the so called 'educated elites' in the South still hang on pompously to outdated father Xmas ideals bathing in unwarranted pride atop Ivory Towers of ignorance and status quoisms....smh
