ola6: PENGASSAN and their sister have no reason to join the strike as already there had been scarcity so their joining will neither add nor remove. Smart move. I am not opinionated on the strike though. |

I wondered when Nigerians will realise that the Government and Labour are just playing chess with Nigerians. The same scripts...Government and Labour meets secretly and agreed at N125 Naira per letter after cash must have exchanged hands. Ggovernment announce N145 per litre. Labour will go on strike and after three days on strike, their will be negotiation and price will be reduced to N125 per litre. THEN NIGERIANS WILL FOOLISHLY THINKS THEY HAVE GOTTEN A BETTER DEAL 4 Likes |

Strike or no strike, it won't change the country's present economic status. All we should be thinking about now is how to set the nation's dispute ablaze. Meanwhile, my advice to NLC is to have a rethink rather than to use paraffin as a means of extinguisher. |

coupled with disobeying court order this might be the excuse govt would use to fire workers who are absent tomorrow as the camp is not united and other unions are not in support. 1 Like 1 Share |

You strike on Wednesday and call it off on Friday. That is not strike. Moreover, NLC and TUC are fighting the wrong cause. They should stay focus on "Increment of Wages & Salary" 1 Like |

My great citizens, we need to sit and think again and again over this issue of subsidising remove. No matter how good it will bring to Nigerians, a lot of things will get worst. Even if federal government increase minimum wage to forty five thousand (#45,000) has they're planning, the questions is these. 1. How many people will benefits from it? 2.Can individuals organization increase their staff salary as well? 3. What is the cost of living? 4.Is it the amount you buy pure water before you will still buy it? 5. What about food stuff, are they still the same price in the shops/market? 6. Is it the same way you bounded bus before, will be the same way after hiking the fuel price? 7. Can your accommodation rent remain the same? We need to consider a lot of things on this issue. Suffering and smiling has matter Nigerians, Now with the level of this hiking the fuel price how would fellow Nigerian cope? Meanwhile, this issue will not affect Buhari's families, osinbajo's families and some rich men and women in this country. It's majorly affect the masses. Ọ̀rọ̀ tó ńpa olóko l'ẹ́kún, l'àparò fí ńṣe ẹ̀rin rín, nínú igbó. What ails the farmer is what amuses the patridge in the forest. Increase on fuel price will worst cost of living. We all know that some other countries increase their fuel prices but their cost of living remain the same. Our 1 naira has no value, there is nothing you can do with 5 naira. Yet things goes high every blessed day. Some country do not have crude oil at all, yet they survive, Kenya that very close to us do not have. House of Representatives and house of Senate will never kick against it because they we do what will bring more money to their pocket. If you're a man or woman who goes to market to buy food stuff you will realize this. This issue is no longer a lacuna but incubus that bring lugubrious and inflation to the live of the masses and the less privilege people. Ìrọ̀rùn igi ni ìrọ̀rùn ẹyẹ. The comfort of the tree is what assures the comfort of the bird (on it) May God be with us all. Com Rhyme. 5 Likes 1 Share |
