I was both flabbergasted and devastated this morning when I had that our so-called NLC has embarked on another wild goose chase and a fruitless effort in the name of National strike. What do they hope to achieve by paralysing the economy of the country? Hmm, what seems to be an open secret is now very unambiguous and lucid even to a blind man that NLC is totally an opposition puppet and unthinkably a toothless bulldog!
If in this era of change, a national body like NLC can’t differentiate its right from left, it then goes to show how far we have descended as a country. If I may ask what happens to dialogue? What happens to round table discussion like what is obtainable in developed and saner countries?
Hold on first, I understood that prior to the commencement of their strike today; they embarked on a lengthy dialogue on Monday and Tuesday morning with the federal government which unfortunately ended in deadlock. . If not for their hidden and selfish agenda coupled with some political undertones, they would have rescheduled the meeting till they come to a compromise, since the federal government (anchored by our ever conscious PMB) was willing to listen to their demand. Honestly their action today was purely and unarguably political, hence should be totally condemn by all well meaning Nigerians.
The offer of 45k minimum wage and a reduction of the pump price of premium motor spirit by at least 15 percent would have motivated any “sane” union to call off a scheduled strike. If this is all the opposition can offer to destabilise the federal government, I advise them to try another day because it’s already an exercise in futility. The federal government lead by our resilient, perspicacious and tenacious president will never succumb to the whims and caprices of these very few antagonists and holistically corrupt, disharmonious and rancorous beings. Our positive change MUST come to reality because light must always overcome darkness. God bless our president and God bless the federal republic of Nigeria.

You don talk finish? So what do u have to tell the masses that are suffering from the hike in everything. Those who can't afford the fuel price, those who will loose their job cos firms are reducing staffs due to high cost in powering there generating set, those who earn 18k when a bag of rice is 16k, those who's children pays a lot for to and fro frm school home everyday and earns little. What d u have to say about all since u can only support FG.

This strike is an affront on Nigeria and Nigerians, Wabba and his cohorts should be treated as aliens and incarcerated for life. Enough is enough, few elements will never be allowed to truncate our positive change.
