I Voted For Buhari by martinslanre(op): 9:05am On May 20, 2016
I voted Buhari. Yes you read that right, voted a man the older generation told me was a no nonsense incorruptible man. The man the older generation kept talking about before the last election. I obviously didn't live any of those days before 1985 they usually talk about.

I voted with strong hope and huge enthusiasm. Will I do that again?
To be sincere I will gladly do it again. If you ask me to pick between the great stories I heard about the Buhari/Idiagbon led administration and the 6 years of the previous administration, I'll gladly pick the former a million times.

Though it looks like a hopeless course right now, but each time I pray for the success of this administration I know I do so not because I want to brag or to be able to say "I told you so" but because I know we are running out of time as a nation and the sooner we get it right the better for all. The hardship we are facing now is far greater than the comfort we had during a corrupt led administration but I believe we even deserve more than that comfort too. We are crying now, but we should remember the hour before dawn is usually the darkest. Or maybe it's just easier for me to say this because I'm still someone's responsibility

The truth is I feel it too, in fact I can say I feel it to the marrow of my bones each day, but the hope I'm having in this hopelessness surrounding us as a nation will keep pushing me to believe in this administration. If he gets it right then the nation gets it right and if the nation gets it right then the sacrifice would be worth it. The greatest scourge to our common good as a nation is corruption and if the other parties feel this administration is witch hunting them, then they should bring out their game mode and bring forth the competition that democracy is all about so when they atone the power seat too they can also witch hunt those that have witch hunted them because at the end of the day if PDP jails every APC member because APC members jailed them then the advantage falls on the side of the common man.
Perhaps if they keep jailing themselves then the ones that will not end in jail can get it right... But till then no one should wait or pray for this administration to fail because they want to say " I Told You So", if he fail we fail because like a wise man told me last Friday night "this is not about Buhari,it is not about APC again. It is now Federal Goverment,Nigeria, Nigerians and the problems of Nigeria/Nigerians" .

What have you gained as a zombie... Just mention one of them...

What can you be proud of that buhari has done that has affected you positively in one year?

Among the promise which have you benefitted

Buhari has failed this country, and if Nigeria wants patience and hope we wouldn't have voted change, we would have sticked with Gej then hope and wait...

Now we know that change can be negative as opposed to what they made us to believe.

I have little to say to you sir,you are entitled to your opinion. No matter what I say, I'm sure your mind is made up about the subject already and that is the greatest of all danger.

Lol...people who steal our future, stash up billions for generations yet to come. So if you think I won't reference those that are struggling to give me at least a decent education then I'm sorry smiley

In gej administration anti_socila bill wasn't hyped as apc used it's advantage to climb to the apex seat of power...

Barely did they came in to power they begin to sponsor the anti_socila media bill...

We wailed and it was thrown out of nAss.

Buhari sponsored terrorist tribe fulanis were maiming people across other ethnicities. All apc and buhari could do is to sponsor grazing reserves to further subjugate and conquer people's lands...

We wailed and the idea was shoved right into their asses.

Now tell me what the zombies have gained...

N5000?
N40 petrol?
$1 = #1?
Employment?

Tell me what have you gained if not getting poorer...

Okay keep wailing, it is for our collective good, but wail sensibly.

By the way, the last time I checked, apc supporters (except maybe one or 2 persons) were also opposed to the silly anti-social media bill and the grazing reserves. You can prove me wrong by providing any link on here which proves otherwise?... So this brings us back to my point, sensible wailing is allowed and will receive the support of all, irrespective of political affiliations.

And you ask what I have gained?... I have gained peace of mind knowing that even though the economy is down, it is not because some wolves sit-down in a room as if they want to have supper and then share our collective patrimony; I am fully aware of the reason behind the economic downturn experienced today - being the catastrophic oil prices, the infrastructural saboteurs and the previous thoughtless leaders who did not think a time like this would ever come, hence they sat down and shared everything amongst themselves.

Is it the fulanis herdsmen maiming in agatu and Enugu..

Or the mile 12 saga..
Or the militancy.?
Or the economic downturn which has weaking currency, petrol price rise, inflation, and high electricity tariff??

My guy if you wanna zombie use your senses... You wailed for the anti grazing bill and anti social bill, kindly use ur senses once again... And stop being stingy with the truth...

Zombies have not benefitted from this government rather reverse is the case just that you guys are being foolish and used.

Like i said, I was opposed to the antisocial media bill and the grazing reserves bill and many other buhari outspoken supporters were also openly against it . I don't have to keep running back and forth to prove anything to a faceless emotional person on NL, the records are easily available. When I see something which isn't right, I would not speak in support of it because of political affiliation, that is common sense 101; common sense comes before some stupiid tribal or religious or political allegiance. i don't know if this can be said for most of you disgruntled jonathanians and ethnocentrists.

By the way, Fulani herdsmen massacre has been happening ever since even though it was hardly ever reported nor given any attention by past govts and Nigerians in general; and when you dont nip things like that in the bud, they only get more daring. It is silly for anyone to claim it started under Pmb or because of buhari. It only became more popular because it is now seen and used as a sweet political tool to bulldoze buhari, just the same way the bokoharam menace was used as a political tool to bulldoze GEJ. Similarly, most of the other unrests you mentioned are things that have been happening so I wonder why anyone would want to tie it to pmb.
