That is why I always say nigerias run politics at opposite side, they should have leave the country for who the economy has turned bad in his tenure to reposition it first. Now the economy of the giant of africa downturn and pple in position blaming past govt, instead of bringing innovative idea to reposition the country economy you went and bring in pple like Lai mohammed to be telling us lies. God help our country Naija!

A man or nation who does not know where his problem is, will never come out of it. Someone ran the economy despite all the negatives and Nigeria became the biggest and fastest growing economy in Africa and this doesn't mean a thing to us..... undecided angry angry is absolute foolishness.

PMB should have left the economy alone without drastically changing the economic policies and fighting corruption at the same time. A man should not climb a ladder with things on both hands.......His intent was good but let's admit it.....he didn't have the full details nor experience to make such adjustment. But the biggest mistake is when we choose to aportion blame and accusations rather than utilising the available resources to revert these mistakes.

How on earth should we have renowned economists like Pat Utomi, Ngozi O., etc shocked shocked cool shocked cooland instead of utilising these potentials, FG is busy accusing and chasing them away. angry angry sad angry angry

What we looking for in tge sky is under our bed.......... Please stop the hating and let's unit to save our nation. undecided undecided undecided undecided

Jonathan that you claim led our economy to become the "largest and the greatest?" Buktus! Jonathan merely had a high Oil price slush cash accruing. He had NO say in oil prices.

Likewise PMB is battling the effects of Low Oil price that he had no hand in. This is NIgeria's opportunity to move away from the curse of oil. Our peoples suffering today lies SQUARELY on Jonathan. He did not SAVE anything for the rainy day. How can he? When Stealing is Not Corruption in his eyes

180 degrees would've being better. We are actually on 360 degrees that's why we are moving backward very fast

Buhari is confused honestly. The man has done nothing but bring untold hardship on Nigeria.
I don't know if it's his policies or just badluck but this almost exactly the same thing he did way back in '83.

Honestly, his policies so far has been anti Nigerians. Almost every sector he touches turns to dust.

Nigeria has not paid a dime in subsidy since beginning of 2016. Again, what the FG has done is to deregulate the oil industry. Read about what it means to deregulate.

Why can't you counter the fact that the Ineffectual Buffoon and madam puff-puff borrowed to pay salaries in Feb and March of 2015 and attempt to tell us how they could have managed the economy with much more lower oil price?

If no subsidy was paid in 2016, why is the pump price not 86 naira? Why should it increase to 135-145 if no subsidy was paid at 86? Am i missing something here?

We saw this coming. It's not a news any longer since the only commodity that made us grow on paper has lost more than 60% of its values without us saving for these rainy days.

PMB technically inherited a bleeding economy; an economy effectively in recession.

Buhari & his APC group economic policies are responsible for these. An effective leader with good ideas takes the right steps to fix problems, that obviously is lacking in Buhari's system rather blames Jonathan & go about calling Nigerians corrupt wen He has a cabinet & team filled wit corruption.

We can only hope the finance ministry's expansionary policy will mitigate this in the medium to long term.

We need more money in circulation. Damn.

This is what happens when MAN trust in himself putting GOD aside.

When ever there is economic uncertainty it is just that wealth is about to change hands, the fools will keep on complaining and biting there teeth while the wise will go to work on how the can make use of the situation to their advantage.change is inevitable but the fools just like the Luddites will insist that nothing should change.

the issue of blaming past govt or saying that the problems were caused by past govt is not out of place except if it is over stressed because you cannot treat a disease without talking about its cause.

With what the "dullard" has achieved by keeping Nigeria alive, the Ineffectual Buffoon would have put Nigeria up for sale were he to still be in charge.

Nigeria under the IB borrowed to pay salaries in February and March 2015, remember?

So, intelligent people can understand what we would have become if he was still in charge.
We do not know that 4 sure. So we can't B speculating. So what we have on ground is problems.
In the 80's same situation until he was topled

GEJ can be liken to a leader of a security team employed to guard a property, as time went on his subordinates who were suppose to protect the property began to steal from it while he did nothing and when he saw how they were enjoying what they were stealing he decided to join them

You are one of tge problems....... you say what you have no knowledge about. If we may go by what you said. ?...... would PMB had made all those promises if he truly understood the situation. ?....... I guess not

PMB took over at what oil price...... and what is it today? Atleast say the truth to yourself. ?....Yes oil price was up to $120 but dropped move than 60% to thereabout $40 when GEJ handed over. My question is...... who experienced the oil price fall more......GEJ or PMB.

please don't say GEJ didn't save when Amaechi and the Nigerian Courts forced the FG to share the excess crude savings.....

Another question is......... where is PMB picking the blame.......indeed his silence or demonstrated ignorance to earlier pronounced promises is working for him.

Times are hard.... Very few people can understand what is happening, gradually we are getting to "May Day May Day".... You can quote me blindly but time will tell...the economy is in shambles, a friend called me yesterday evening and said her company with head office in Abuja closed down yesterday and all workers were laid off.. The company is just one out of many others including small scale business that can't cope with the economic policy of these administration.. No light.... No salaries or delay in salaries... Fuel hike in the name of subsidy removal even though the vp said they did not remove subsidy... My people it is just a matter of time before we all realise things have gone really bad... I know thousands will say we have to go through the pains before enjoyment... I know thousands will say past administrations destroyed the economy for 16yrs... I know thousands will say atheist we are fighting corruption.. I know thousands will say he has just spent a year there are still better days ahead.... My space my opinion... Get your space and write yours too. In the end weather good or bad we shall all reap the efforts of our leaders....

Hmmm....most of these Abuja big business were really feeding off big time on GEJs corruption fueled economy...cant even survive 1yr post GEJ. I dont blame the medium scale operations though...it aint easy.
