Goodafternoon all. am asking this out of curiosity， i want to know if a girl of 8years can menstruate. because i was told that ， girls start menstruating at the age of 12 and 13， and even at that age， there are some month the won't see anything. my kid sis live with me， she's 8years of age，what am about to write happen this afternoon. i came back i saw my sister eyes swollen， that shows that she had been crying， i rush to her， i asked what the problem was she narrate to me how blood keep coming out of her vagina， i was shock， the first thought that came to me was wether she has been rape i then asked her who came to the house and what happen？ she said no one， i asked her where she went to， and what happen ， she said ever since i went out ， she has gone nowhere. this really disturbed me alot ， i want to know if its normal that's if she's menstruating or if there's anything wrong with her， so that i know the next step to take. please doctors and nurses in the house attend to this ladies please your contribution to this is highly appreciative. |

Age 9 is apparently the average age.. Jst take her to the doctors just to check,as there are other reasons young girls can bleed. It is better to be safe than sorry. 2 Likes |

First ask ursf diz qweshuns; is she kinda chubby and fresh? crazysaint, try to find out if the blood is not from ra.pe. If it isn't, there is nothing to be afraid of. However sex education is a must. You don't want her to be distracted or impregnated. |

1st of all am not a girl, but why don't you visit a hospital immediately instead of coming to NL clinic. Anyway my views about ur sis condition are:- She might involve in a home accident that can tear her hymen, or it may be due to early puberty. |
