Op I think data retail biz is almost dead. What is the point in patronizing you when one can buy directly at a cheaper price - Easyflex gives 2gb + 3000 naira talktime valif for one month for just 2k.

SME is not dead and the ISP seem to recognise our importance as we are closer to the end user than they are.
And again not everybody has 2000 naira for data in a month. So 1GB for #600 valid for 30 days is not a bad deal

The issue with data retailers is that they market their data as valid for 30 days, but that is not always the case. The retailer buys bulk data and his 30-day validity starts running from the date of purchase from the service provider. When a customer buys from the retailer, the customer's validity will count from the date he bought from the retailer, which may be less than 30 days. So if a retailer has only 10 days left of his validity period, a customer who bought from him will also have 10 days to use the data; if not used within the 10 days the data will be lost. Buyers from data retailers should take note.
