Hello Nairalanders, I just got an iPhone 5c from someone and I need to activate it but all solutions was proved abortive.

If I insert a sim into the phone it will show up the network signal even 3g and ask for actvation, I will select language and region Nigeria and then proceed to the activation but there is a message that will pop up that my sim can't be found on the activation server that I should insert another sim. please help me out because it can't even get to the iPhone home screen.

Hav u charged the battery..mine was like that until my engineer change my battery..so charge the battery well because I believe if the battery is weak it will not hav strength to activate the phone or replace

I do charge the battery to full percentage, but yet I still get the error message.

Your phone needs to be carrier unlocked
