•Awolowo lobbied Zik 2 insert a clause giving any region d right 2 leave d federation bt Zik flatly refused

. •d mantra "One Nigeria" wz coined by Igbo leaders.

•1966- A strong all powerful Federal Government with weak states (decree 34) was an Igbo idea imposed on Nigerians by Gen.Aguiyi Ironsi on d advice of d Igbo elite nd leaders.

•1960- d Igbo led NCNC rejected a senior partnership offer 4rm Awolowo. Choosing instead 2 b minority partners 2 d northern NPC . For their efforts they were rewarded with d useless office of d ceremonial President.

•1966-70 - Arthur Nzeribe was a major arms supplier 2 NG during d biafran war.

•1979- Igbo leaders fought tooth and nail 2 b named running mate 2 Shagari instead of supporting Zik 4 President

•1993- Bashir Tofa wz soundly defeated by SDPs MKO Abiola in his hometown of kano,Kaduna, Kastina nd all d major northern states bt he surprisingly won d Igbo votes.

•Many young nd hungry artists refused 2 perform @ d Abacha 2million man match rally,bt our dear Onyeka Onwenu wz d 1st 2 mount d stage shamelessly shaking her bum on world TV.

•Chief ojo Madukwe famously declared "No Abacha,no Nigeria"

•1998 -Prince Arthur Eze led Igbo elders 2 Abacha 4 d "2nd surrender of my people".


During d trial nd hanging of Ken Saro Wiwa,we all know those dat stood by d Ogoni nd those dat silently ate with d enemy.

•2010-When Jonathan wz being bullied by Turai nd her cabal,we know those dat fought 4 justice nd those dat hid in fear but became his friends nd brother's overnight.

•No amount of bitterness nd childish tantrums can change history.
