With due respect to everyone that have commented..... There was no PPRRA chairman, people complained and asked how they got to fix the price for fuel, now PPRRA chairman don show, another set of people have risen to say "why a northerner"? As much as government tries to make sure it's impact touches everywhere, it's still a " my brothers first" situation. Where the problem will lie is if your brother whom you appointed isn't up to the task, and from the profile of the chairman, we can see he isn't a newbie in the oil business.................. When ex-president was there, he had the same "my brothers first" mentality, and did exactly the same thing, when the next president goes there, he will also do the same thing. So for those clamouring, I'll say you had your chance and squandered it, so don't expect another person to give u a second chance at the expense of his "capable" people..... this our leaders are selfish. I heard rumours that the government intends to make minimum wage to be #25,000 as suppose the #45,000 led by NLC. they either want to use palliative as a means to scam workers at their detriment. the big question is "how do we rate a poor country" why don't they start minimum wage from the top shots up there and ascertain the gap between lvl 34 to lvl 1. my candid opinion could be that govt. should ensure stability of market prices for its citizens.
