Boko Haram are terrorists NDA are terrorists We were all united to denounce Boko Haram. But now because of sectional and political affiliations, some idiots are supporting the destruction of their fatherland and the killings of our very precious soldiers. The last time I checked, the definition of terrorism does not embrace the legitimacy or otherwise, the reasons for terror. And whereas the effects of Bharam terror could be sectional, the devastating effects of Niger Delta terror is national. Any person supporting niger delta terror is as evil as that supporting BHaram . Bharam wanted sharia NDA wanted resource control and recently, seccession So should the legitimacy or otherwise of these demands distort a collective will to denounce terror? Sadly, religion, ethnicity and political affiliations have overshadowed sense of reasoning. I weep for my dear country |

AZeD1:Amaechi said something in that period of "we steal because they don't stone us". Stealing has tribal covering, when people sees how much the north is devouring each month as royalties, the few ones from among them that are taking peanuts are just overlooked (this was not quoted but it was said). So beating your child because he stole N50 from you while your neighbors are walking in that taking millions and you can't do anything is nonsensical. The whole Niger Delta can't be asked to fight over 13% while a single individual is taking 30% of the same amount monthly, so if you can take your share of the 13%, go ahead. Until the oil blocks owned by northerners are revised I don't think there will be peace, this is beyond 13%, NDDC or ministry |

My fear for all this is that now soldiers have been deployed to the Delta, they will use the opportunity to attack, rape women and kill innocent people at will. Those people are the worst set of people to deal with as they often leave terrible trademarks in places they invade. I challenge our soldiers to go after ND Avengers not helpless villagers who know nothing about these bombings. It's noteworthy that no group or tribe in Niger Delta has, openly, supported the Avengers though they may have a soft spot for them. Nigeria state must be fair to the people of Niger Delta because they give so much to her, yet get so little in return. Having said that, it's very important Niger Delta people hold their leaders to be accountable. Yes, the region is the richest in terms of federal allocations yet so much isn't being done for inhabitants of the creeks. Niger Delta people deserve much better from the Nigeria state. Seeking a sovereign state is almost impossible because Nigeria will never let that happen. No way!! To my way of thinking, Niger Delta Avengers should be a little more realistic. They should compromise and negotiate for 50% control of oil resources for Niger Delta states or true federalism so that states will harness their resources and pay 10% tax to Federal govt. If FG disagrees, then they are free to even set the refineries on fire ![]() One thing is sure, if the Hausa/Fulani had been the ones who had this crude oil, Nigeria would have divided a long time ago. I rest my case |

slap1:@ bolded...ask BH. Just don't start screaming for human rights when the fireworks begin. What do you mean by PMB is not running an inclusive government? Isn't there a ND service chief and are there no ND ministers and other personnel in his cabinet? You're not making any point here. |

gurunlocker:I don't naturally reply you kids because you guys have nothing else to offer in terms of intellectual discourse other than insults and threats. I am sure you are pained by the fact that blowing pipelines can't wreck the economy. Does a rupture in your plumbing pipe wreck your entire house? Do you even have the mental capacity to process what I just said? I doubt so. |

Doyin2:Who United with you to denounce Boko haram when the OIC said attack on boko is an attack on the north. Boko Haram was fighting over over a dry patch of land and it cost Nigeria so much, what do you say about the group fighting over the Golden goose. Buhari should understand that there are better ways to handle this |

QuotaSystem:You have not answered my first question: Is the NDA getting crushed now? Between the NDA and the FG, who is presently losing? And mind you, I am totally against what they are doing, 100%! We cannot hope that they will be crushed while they keep shutting down the country. Asari Dokubo and co also yabbered about secession, what finally happened? |

ITbomb:Like I said earlier, this oil blocks owned by the North rhetoric is what the likes of Asari, Tompolo and co use to"cover" the eyes of the people to continue their stealing. The majority of the oil sold (90%) is from foreign owned oil blocks. In 2014, the statement from Asari and co was that the north wanted power because oil block licences were expiring this year, that lie didn't work, now it's the" North" own majority of the oil block lie that is trending. |

MaziOmenuko:see how ur talking as if u re the engineer that fixed the previous once or ur the government officials who went for negotiation. its not hard to kw who is for or against. ...how many times did u type this when buhari made Jonathans government hell? ur not even close to the Niger Delta, incase u don't know, fixing up those facilities will cost the government a fortune. no company is a fool to waste cash on repairs like that. even the water cleansing is done by the government which is very very cost ( go and check how much China charged Britain for clean up) All company connected to the oil sector have signed this. |

cele360:So why blame Government for your suffering? I am equally sure you will be against total war on the communities haboring these economic saboteurs. Most wise Nigerians know that when Jonathan awarded fraudulent pipeline survelance contract to thugs there was an ulterior motive. What they did between February and May 2015 was to plant bombs on pipelines pending when they get order from their Leaders to detonate. |

slap1:On a serious note, Osun State's economy is improving. The financial accident that the state faced has forced the government to look towards agriculture. That's what that Aregbe should have done since. As for Ekiti, they don't have a government. |

The method of "dashing" out oil wells & fields to a secluded group of people has alwys been problematic...the cronies grow wings, act anyhow & brag about...unknowingly, anger is built up in the minds of d majority of us, d masses! Our structural faults r gradually widening up! In Asa's voice, "...fire on the mountain, & no-one seem a-running" |

AZeD1:It is an insult to say that the words of Asari is what Niger Delta believes, the documentation of the oil blocks is in public domain so stop quoting Asari. Let me educate you, no foreigner can own an oil block 100%, highest they can get because of their technological expertise is 30%, the rest shared between govt and individuals. Please if not anything learn this one thing today |
| Re: Breaking News: Niger Delta Militants Bomb Agip, Aiteo 600,000bpd Facility by QuotaSystem: 9:01am On May 29, 2016 |
slap1:Both parties are losing because ALL Nigerians (including militants, their families and ND people) suffer from the effects of Nigeria's reduced oil output as they will all suffer any power outages, fuel scarcity, and lack of funds for projects and salaries. The reason why the militants and ND are the biggest losers, is because they are the only ones that in addition to the above, will also suffer the consequences of a destroyed ecosystem which they depend on to survive, while destroying every fabric of investor friendliness that the region hitherto enjoyed, leading to loss and lack of jobs and perpetuation of the suffering they're currently agitating against. I can assure you that the Nigerian Army is up to the task of flattening the miscreants. This is 2016 where navigation is better done with GPS and satellite imaging rather than with rudimentary knowledge of the creeks. Just remember to not disturb anyone with your cries of human rights violations (like y'all started yesterday) when the party gets in full swing. |

Why aren't their facilities being bombed? the governors are the chief security oficers of their states! what are they doing with their security votes, don't they have intelligence gathering? |
