Remember wen subscription was 5k nobody I repeat nobody ever complained of running out of data. But since they reduced price u can't even use it for 24hrs.

Downloading and Uploading and streaming of videos consume so much data.
Well I don't stream YouTube videos I simply download them, to download YouTube videos, copy the video link, GOTO this site, [ en.save from.net ] paste the link in the box then download the video. You can download in either MP4 or 3GP or Flv

All valid points. People also need to optimize their data by substituting huge apps for lighter alternatives. For example, instead of the Facebook app who is huge and gulps data, why not use Metal (recommended) or Facebook Lite?
Also, use websites instead of some apps. They look alike anyway and burn much less data. If you don't have much data for example, go to the Twitter site via Opera Mini instead of through the app itself.
My final contribution is this - browsers like Chrome and Mozilla are great but all in all, you can't go wrong with UC Browser, Opera or Opera Mini.
PS: Opera Max is an app which apparently helps you save data. Doesn't work for me. Might work for you.

yes oh, those apps and browsers consume data that's why I use opera mini most of the time. it saves my data.

A major reason slow why your data may run much faster is if your phone is in a bad network area. The reason for this is quite technical and so only telecoms experts and persons with an understanding of how TCP transmits data will get it. But basically your network provider bills you for every kilobytes that leaves it's network to your phone but because your network condition is poor it may not actually reach you and so your phone requests for a retransmission of the missing data which the network then sends to you again and charges you a second time for the same data. So even though you download a 10mb file your retransmission may raise it up to say 14mb and that would take a till on your data. That's also the reason why android tella you that your data usage statistics maybe different fRom those of your network provider.
