Anybody here ever played high end games on pc powered by intel iris. If so, how does it compare to amd radeon and nvdia geeforce.

Light, bantam or heavy weight.

someone here seem to overrate it..please prove him wrong.

My faith lies only in nvidia and nothing else

Sure...nvdia rules...infact most gaming and fx app are designed work on them optimally.

but not every one can afford their usage. so, any review on the iris?

You can't compare 'Iris vs Nvidia' or 'Iris vs AMD'

Those are brand names, not GPUs

Comparisons should be done on discreet GPUs. For example if the Iris Pro is as powerful as a Geforce 960, for example.

Rule of thumb is that integrated GPUs aren't as good as discreet GPUs from the same generation. Intel has been focusing on steadily improving their iGPU performance, so you should still have a decent gaming experience, albeit with mid to low settings and modest resolutions.

yeah bro... did that on purpose. Iris seem to be the most powerful intel gpu and that's why i mentioned it instead of intel.

to avoid e bashings like.... 'intels are cpu makers' or the sort.
