1) The first method is to simply register your domain name & keep your website hosted with .

What I need is this. I want to start my own blog. I want it NOT ON WORDPRESS.. And I want to own it completely, not share any part with google. Using a "template", not a "theme". Dunno if it is called self hosted. I just want to have total control.

So i mentioned that because anyone reading your post would think that "template" is more superior to "theme" or something.
