The Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu is representing Nigeria at the General Assembly of the Fifteenth Session of the Committee on Science and Technology, COSTECH, of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) holding in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The attendance of the minister is a response to request from the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and current Chairman of COSTECH, Mr. Mannoon Hussein to President Buhari to delegate the Minister to attend the General Assembly of the Committee scheduled to hold from Tuesday, May 31-Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Islamabad. COSTECH, which is in its 15th year of existence, assists Nigeria and other OIC member states to build indigenous capacities in science and technology through cooperation and mutual assistance.

According to the ministry, the attendance and participation of Nigeria at the conference is expected to further strengthen and enhance the capacity of the country to develop science and technology which is key to the success of the change agenda of the Federal Government. It also described the meeting as a further demonstration of the Buhari administration’s determination to explore all available avenues that will assist in the uplifting of the living standard of Nigerians.

Ogbonaya Onu is going to a meeting where decisions will be taken and strategies will drawn on how to convert all churches to mosques, all pastors to alfas and all christians to muslims. Religious bigots are just pathetic.
