Ok lets do this......
for those of us who have defended a project in school before ,most especially a final year project.u can imagine after all the cramming for weeks only for u to jonz in front of your panel on the D Day.it happened to me.we were 3 in a group .this is what happened when it was our turn.
Panel:what do u have here
Me: this is a 3KVA POWER INVERTER
Panel:how does it work?
Me :eerhn this is a 12V battery that brings current into the inverter then it will enter the transformer then step up and it will be ok for the consumer to use.

omo i wan kill my self.i knew i had messed up.after all my reading.anyway my group members answered the rest questions so i was exonerated by my group members.I should have try small talk this
Me :this is a 12V DC battery from which we have the voltage flow into the oscillating unit then into the mosfet bank and all these stages at the same voltage before which it then goes into the transformer which in turn steps the voltage to 220V for final consumption.

arrh you guys are lucky then....me I had sleepless night thinking on how to defend facing panel of professors from other schools
