The question is why now? In simple term, it's either some idiots also want to become instant billionaires like Tompolo during GEJ, or they are simply avenging Jonathan loss at the polls.
In both instances, it's clearly NOT about the people but some selfish interest of those individuals or some crook politicians still yet to accept they've lost the power game.
This agitation is definitely NOT about Niger Deltans.

They don't want to have anything to do with Nigeria, but they own the highest numbers of inter-state buses and some of their richest people are those ferrying their people into other regions of Nigeria.

Not only transportation; see as they have settled everywhere in the country; no one needs to tell you that they benefit more than anyone from One Nigeria than any other tribe - and will be among the biggest losers if everyone should go their own way.

Anyway their eyes will clear when the push comes to the shove; notice how the agitation is mainly among their angry jobless youths - not the ones making it.
