Baseplate foundation footing for the marquee is also in progress, the consultant contracted for the marquee is a brilliant guy and took his time in making sure all the baseplates align properly before we did the casting.

Casting of the german floor of the marquee started on Tuesday 23rd January and it will probably span over 4 days or less. We have a total area of 2400 sq.m to cast excluding the entrance terrace and stairs. We are goin to be using 3nos mixing machines and a team of 45 people.

Heavy project! Well-done Bitsworks.
From what I can observe, concrete's are mixed on site with loads of people on site. Is there no concrete mixing company you can order your concrete mix and they will deliver to site in or around Ogbomosho. This project is just too big and deserves such. Good job though.
Re: DIY: Project Management/Supervision Of Commercial Development [ogbomosho] by BITSWORKS(op): 7:50am On Feb 27, 2016
We were able to achieve 500 sq.m on DAY1, we started with 3 mixing machines but one broke down and we finished the casting with 2 mixers. From the experience of day1, we were able to restrategized and mapped out new procedures on DAY2 and we were able to achieve 700 sq.m meaning we are halfway there.

Like u said, project is just too big for the kind of method we employed. I actually spoke with Lafarge for their *Readymix* product but they don't deliver to Ogbomosho for now as they do not have any Readymix depot that is within the 2 hours road trip distance specified for their product.

Thanks for the input.

Windows have been fixed and correction is ongoing for the ones that are not aligned properly. Even with the claims of using plumb, most artisan are not as detailed as I will like hence I have to make some alterations.

Ongoing ceiling fixing using PVC ceiling slats. The size is 0.2m x 5.99m and you have 10pcs in a bundle which makes 12sq.m.

This type is the made in Nigeria brand which doesn't break when squeezed between the fingers, the importer China type are more fragile and don't last long.

I don't think I quite understand your question but if its what is laid under the tiles, its a mixture of cement and sharpsand laid to a plumb level and when the tiles is about to be laid on it, a mixture of cement and water is poured on it to give it adhension.

Kindly rephrase your question if my assumption is wrong.
