ND avengers are a faceless group. So even if they send 10 million soldiers to the niger delta, they wont fish out the avengers. The avengers are not militants. They have no camps. Probably do not carry weapons around either.

My theory is that they are probably using small armed drones to blow the pipelines or Tompolo had already rigged all our pipelines with remote controlled explosives during his years carrying out pipeline surveillance.

But if he chooses to remain there, then he must receive common sense and learn how to govern a complex country like Nigeria through inclusive practices, compromise, concessions, and a willingness to continuously engage the stakeholders of the part of the country that generates all the wealth.

First off, Niger Delta Avengers is a creation of Tompolo tacitly supported by Jonathan. The whole idea is to force Buhari to come to the negotiation table and FG to abandon the legitimate case of graft it has against them.
PROS: If Buhari succumbs to this blackmail, the fight against corruption dies a natural death, militants becomes policy makers etc.Pipelines are safe.
CONS: If he fails to succumb, bombing of pipelines continue.
In a nutshell, this is what he must do.
1, Declare state of emergency in the affected LGA's. Push 80% of our Naval assets and some Helicopter gunships there. 2, Borrow from China to run budget for two years. 3, Never acknowledge or ever grant further amnesty to them. 4 Make an announcement anyone who habors Tompolo or any Avenger will have their houses demolished.
Watch as the idiotic militancy dies down in less than a year.

Let me tell you your opinion will trigger a lot aggressive agitation and could possibly burn out to uncontrollable war further away from their region to the whole country. As offshore worker, I can tell you with my experience that our Navy cannot manage our coastguard.
