According to Sky sources Manchester United will sign Ibrahimovic and the deal would be done even before the euro start. It is understood that United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward and Ibrahimovic's representatives are finalising terms on a one-year contract with Jose Mourinho determined to make the swedish International his first Marquee signing at Old Trafford. Sky sources understand Ibrahimovic is the only striker Mourinho wants to sign this summer, with the portuguese convinced Marcus Rashford can make a significant impact at old trafford next season. it is more of a business move than a football move. there is no guarantee that he's going to maintain his form or lose the form but one thing is certain, man utd is going to make a lot of money from his jersey sales and other stuffs. 2 Likes |

Its a comercial move not a foot ball sensible move, He cant keep up to the rigours of the epl...,its abig move on paper but prcatically its not a fantatastic one...why do u think he was signed for just a year? Both he and mouronho love speaking grammar and the english people and tabloids love their kind....a lot of media attention these two will defintely generate. |

cescky:nice points! I think it is a very good football move why? He is proven already and still got zeal to play. The youngs stikers such Martial and Rashford will learn alot from him. No doubts he might not find it easy to keep with the rigours of EPL, but Ibra likes to do things the Zlatan's way and there are young stikers to fill that. Most players who are over 30yrs hardly get or sign long term contract. Most times due to the club's policy or whatever. |
