So, recently, or rather ever since he was crowned, the Ooni Of Ife, HRM Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has been visiting a lot of people, and the fact that he is doing that instead of those people visiting him is annoying the public because it is said that tradition does not permit the Ooni to visit people excerpt on an emergency rather people come to his palace to pay him respect.

Recently he payed former governor of Lagos and now Minister for Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola a visit and also visited Footballer Obafemi Martins in his home and that is not going down well with people and some of them are Cool FM OAP Freeze and aide to former President of the Nation Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri as they respectively took to their different social media handle to blast the Ooni. Any right under the constitution? Because I know only the Senators/ Honourables in the House can do that...

So they expect the man to sit his ass on the throne all the time and end up with depression?

I like the Ooni. He is the first and only first class king who doesn't have the proverbial chip on his shoulders.

Reno and freeze can maintain their exalted positions while the Ooni continues to build bridges, mend walls and dismantle age long barriers

I'm not yoruba and I don't see anything wrong in what the Oba is doing..

He's young,Brilliant and dynamic.. Afterall he visits anyone irrespective of the religious/tribal affiliation

I think they should give him a break. He is young and bored or probably intends to change tradition. He already did, by giving thanksgiving in a church for becoming a traditional ruler, how funny.

This ooni is really embrass the son and daughter of Ife. Will give alot to whoever occupy the throne BT the present ooni hv brought shame to the throne by visiting people that suppose to cum and pay him visit....there is report that his broke and he actually visit all this people for contact, I just pray the report is nt true...
