President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday commiserated with the family of the former Super Eagles' Head Coach, Stephen Keshi, and with the entire country, on his untimely death.

According to a post on his official social media handle, President Buhari lamented that Nigeria today lost a great sportsman, football player, coach and citizen.
"Nigeria today lost a great sportsman, football player, coach and citizen. #RIPKeshi"
"President Buhari commiserates with the family of the late Stephen Keshi, and with the entire country, on his untimely passing #RIPKeshi"
"Nigerian football will not be the same without Stephen Keshi. He gave this country his all. May his soul rest in peace," he concluded.

Stephen Keshi spoke both English and French Languages fluently! He was a very nice man, a great achiever! Keshi's death is very Painful! E pain me no be lie! May His Gentle Soul Rest In Perfect Peace. Amen!

Very painful death. It was just like yesterday when I met him at the @Prestige Suite, barely two weeks ago, never knew that would be the first and the last time I'll see him. May his soul rest in peace. I commensurate with the family of Stephen keshi for this great loss.

Keshi represented Nigeria well in his time.
