i know a fulani man that has more than a thousand cattles but he dresses extra simple. he walks in slippers and doesn't wear colorful dresses. infact if u see him you can swear that he is not worth a thousand naira, but he is a multi-millionair.

In Fulani culture, we practise Semteende (Modesty) as much as possible. If a Fulani man is rich, he doesn't show it nor does he boast or brag about it, it demonstrates an ill or wicked character to boast and brag. It is always good to be humble because Geno(Allah/God) can take away your riches from you.
