Restructuring or true Federalism without restructuring the attitude of public and political office holder will tantamount to creating monster at the state level. Financial discipline is the key.

The only country that is being run as a business now is China, that's because they only engage in anything that brings profit. Why any state will hire more workers than they can internally generate money to pay beats my imagination .

I refer you to the cases of Syria. Syria had their oyel and stability and ignored the turks. Now Syria has been burning but turkey refused to open border...infact it took monetary incentives and huge diplomatic promises for them to open their borders this year (over 3 years into the conflict)

I also give u the Singapore example, they were expelled from the Malaysian union for being too poor and a burden today we know their story.

Also look @ the Venezuela story today they giving out free oil to china lols. Big country sitting on the world's largest oil reserves with a population of just 30m!

I am an edo man and not a Niger deltan and even tho am still in my early 20's history tells us the last time we practised regionalism a civil war broke out.

Also as someone who views the north as a strategic part of naija I can only wish ND goodluck as I urge edo to pair with the south west an north to remain part of naija.

Because believe me, NDA are canvassing for the wrong things.

Let me say my mind on this matter. Nigerians are lazy people. We prefer to be handed stipends at month end. I once worked in the banking sector. About half of my former colleagues are tired of the job but they cannot resign out of fear of uncertainty and the unknown so they keep doing a job they do not love and can never bring them fulfillment. Same is the case of many of these civil servants.

They refuse to think outside the box like they were thought in the training school. Nigerians, how can we keep doing thesame things in the old ways and expect different results ?

There is something people do not understand about ground/soil/earth. All forms of wealth comes from the soil. Lets name it, all crops, crude oil, solid minerals for cement and iron. The bible even said God moulded man from the soil. Yet we do not want to work the earth to make money. Let them keep waiting for salary from Niger Delta oil.

The current money the FG is sharing to states as allocation was made about 3 months ago. By August, September 2016, the effects of revenue shortfall due to pipeline bombings will reflect on the national treasury, there wont be strike sef because they will all be seated at home.

Nigerians, take your destinies in ur hands. Survive, we must.

That's where u'r missing it bro. Niger Delta states are oil producing states including Ondo state(SW) and Abia state(SE). Not only SS states are Niger Delta states... I bliv u shud undastand by now
