My question is what do you use in parboiling your rice for it to come out singly - hot or cold water i.e. Do you let your water to boil before putting the rice or you just put it on fire with the cold water.  some believe using cold water makes it soggy, how true is it? |

I put mine in cold water and I have never had any problem with it. |
