Seriously! what is this christian obsession with the way muslims fast? we dont suffer enough, well thats because in islam fasting is not supposed to make you suffer.

2:184 (Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.


2:185 Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful

you can go damaging and starving yourself all you want but keep it to yourself.

I have seen christians that claim to fast, and call it "white fasting" i.e they dont eat salt or seasoning, which means, i can make indomie without salt and eat, drink water join, i can eat cucumber

Again ive seen christians that fast and break whenever it suits them, like 1pm, 3pm, 4pm and so on, nowhere were you even commamded to fast just like we have it in Islam, so whats your headache with the way we fast?

You guys keep claiming that we are intolerant, and you keep looking for trouble, when an emotionally driven muslim reacts, you tag him a terrorist, hypocrites!

I can understand how u feel but what am just trying to let u knw is that U should not judge Islam from what a particular group of Muslims are doing but with d rules of Islam. Just bcuz a particular group of pple are doing something does not mean its what their religion teaches them.. I have neva heard of any fight in Nigeria between Muslims and non Muslims except in d North.

Nigeria Christians r so ignorant, its very funny, they believe d long u stay in a fast the stronger u are or it shows ur fasting is better. Islam is a complete religion that is nt base on self opinion. unlike Christianity where there is no timing in there fast frm there scripture, someone jst woke up one morning and said u fast frm 12am to 6pm etc. ask them where did dey see it in d scripture that dey shld fast wateva time dey HV chosen for them self, they can't show u. wat is in d bible is that Jesus fasted for 40days n 40 nights, Hw many Christian today can fast like that. instead dey design there own fasting timing for them self which has no religious evidences. in Russia Muslims fast 20hrs becos of there weather, becos u fast frm dawn to dusk. so my broda's the longer u stay in a fast doesn't mean u r stronger or urs is better. fasting is nt all abt food. it disciplines u. u control ur gaze, sex urge, manners etc. so go and read my broda's
