The key phrase and the most important one in her statement is this: He (husband) is very responsible and more hardworking than me

Many men, including the irresponsible ones, the deadbeats, those who cannot adequately provide for their families, spouse abusers, and the like, expect their wives to be subservient to them and wait on them, hand and foot. This situation is not ideal and most women will not play the role Omotola talked about under the circumstances I described.

For most women to do what Omotola states, they need to be married to "Real men" who are secure, responsible, and hardworking.

Men who expect the "Omotola" treatment and are not financially sound or hardworking, are well advised to go to the village and marry an illiterate, but respectful, village girl. They will definitely be responsible and hardworking in her eyes.
