This kind of anti corruption trials have never been done before by any previous civilian or military administration in the history of Nigeria. This will be one the greatest achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari's government.

Only a lion hearted man can wrestle with the lions of corruption devouring the masses in Africa's largest economy..

Too many South West officers involved

They can't fight battles yet thy reach the upper echelon of their career.

The only offensive of the Biafran Army was led by a Yoruba man Victor Banjo.

The offensive on Ore by the Biafran Army of close to 5,000 soldiers was stopped by less than 200 men led by a Yoruba man.

The surrender of the Biafran troops was to a Yoruba man.

When you are pointing one finger out, be aware that the remaining four are pointing back at you.

Sanitise the Nigerian Army for better professionalism. I can't imagine how fellow comrades will buy scrap equipment for their colleagues to die on the war front. That's just plain wickedness.

Might as well sack the entire armed forces. Just wasting their time. They don't even know what corruption is. As soon as the big money becomes available they will take it again. Right now they are taking out of the little available.

Nigeria cannot move forward with this your perspective and thinking. That Al Mustapha was retained in the army throughout his trial (which is not totally true) does not make it right (leave suspicion)
. Al Mustapha was not retained in the army. He was only reinstated after a determination of court, besides what has Al Mustapha got to do with Officers who defrauded this Nation and sent Young officers to their graves? The 2 Mi-24's which they bought were substandard and both crashed in less than 6 months killing pilots and crew Men. Al Mustapha is a soldier, He took orders from a his superior officer, Gen. Sani Abacha. You can never fault an officer for following a direct order but these Men, they are just evil, killing young soldiers because of their greed

If you want to fight corruption publish all public procurement with real and real time details of contracts tied to correspondent budgetary provisions including quality verification in all MDA's to see whether it has truly been eradicated or has merely changed ownership. This is very to do. I assure that as a Nigerian living in the real world this exercise does not discourage nor punish corruption. Most will take the money and do the time.

Hate him or like him, PMB has got the ball to deal with colleagues. Except we do not want to tell ourselves the truth, corruption in force is endemic as malaria in Nigeria.

God bless Nigeria

coolIf care is not taken these people may become a
Threath to the natioN because they were high callibre officers. And they won't. Want to be messed up anyhow despite commiting the offence remembered they all hav boys scattered in the millitary so they should be closely monitor if not

No matter what anyone says, Buhari is a blessing to Nigeria. No other head of state will have the "gut" to retire and detain all these military top shots because of the fear of a coup. Stealing at every corner,Nigeria has to be reformatted back to default.

This President is rather too narrow minded and parochial. All those his accusing of all manner of acts were very liberal minded. Imagine both Goodluck and Yar adua did not choose people from their enclave or hamlet as ADC or CSO. It tells of the type of President you now have. But check out PMB all must be Katsina or possibly neighbourhood of Katsina.

It tells you of the world view of the president

Most of them are from the SW...corruption everywhere in high places...They all should be dealt with according to the rule of law. I will never say cos they are my Yoruba brothers they should be spared...The war on corruption should be thorough...kudos to PMB
Stop being politically correct. Na only Yoruba officers dey airforce? Abi na only them chop money?

Buratai was retired because of his involvement in some shady deals during ĢEJ'S tenor, but was reinstalled by Buhari. All we ask for is justice. Equal rights and fairness. Buhari is taking care of the north to the detriment of the south. Northerners are bold to say exactly what they want and how they want it, but you will come here to pretend like all is well when we all know that the South is being reduced to nothing by this government. angry

If this post is true, it indeed confirms that the Mutiny unleashed by our ever-ready combatant gallant soldiers was justifiable to some extent.

And as such, those mutiny soldiers should be released and reabsorbed into army unconditionally.

The last administration relegated our national defense that BH forcefully taken part of territories in which thousands of Nigerian souls, be it civilians or security personnel, lost.

To serve as a deterrent, FG should pursue conviction up to their legally acquired properties seized and turned to be public asset.

Bros,

First off don't misunderstand my point. Both these retired officers and Al Mustapha are wrong. In law both in Military and Civil, you don't follow an unlawful order. I believe he was able to get away because of other considerations (the prosecution's evidence were contesable, length of the case and other stuffs). Safe for that, I agree with you

Buhari has pardoned most of the mutineers except those that attempted murder.
