Day by day this old man and his talkative vice will be talking rubbish. For how long will they keep talking these nonsense. Lets us view Nigeria as if its a one man's business, if such statement keep coming from the MD, and yet we the potential buyers aren't seeing any improvement in his product offerings, tell me if I will spend the next minute reading this poo year in year out.
Uptill now this isn't an economic policy direction, is it that apc can give us as little as policy direction?

baba adviser's are dullard.
you are quick to stop importation of foreign foods... without structure
.our farmers can barely afford mechanize farming; before you implement any tin you first of all check on the merit and demerits
we should empower them then give them time to succeed first before you implement any tin

not always quick to make decision that will boomerang and later you will point accusing fingers at the last administration... our problem is not really corruption Buh becos the govt lack brains that can come up with a solution on how to put the economy in its driving force...good as he good govt no go share money give any masses na only the govt official go still share the money among themselves.. make efcc dey fight corruption make govt they move the economy forward

Just imagine how you've managed to expose yourself as an empty shell with a loud uncouth mouth

Who are the people that benefit from importation of foreign foods/goods? Middle class + Elite
Who are the people that can afford to buy these foreign foods/goods? Middle class + Elite

An aggregate of the Middle class + Elite is still in the minority so what ya say!!

How then can you stupidly concede that the negative factor of ban on luxury products is reduction in production by local farmers?

A ban will create more demand and there really isn't any evidence to suggest their supplies can't meet our demand.

Op-Ed for the Wall Street Journal - June 13, 2016
.

Our solutions must be in proportion to the challenges. Fundamental change takes time and we are driving not one but three changes to reposition Nigeria for inclusive growth.

• Restore trust
Fighting corruption is not enough. We need accountable government

Mr. Buhari is the president of Nigeria.

Accountable government indeed. Well sir these are some things I expect from an 'Accountable' Government

When a court orders that man be released on bail you release him
When the army MURDERS hundreds of shia civilians in cold blood you spare no effort to punish those responsible.
When Funani Herdsmen roam around the country with semi automatic weapons you ensure they are disarmed.

Try doing just those 3 things then come back and lecture us about responsible government. Till that time, this na story for your Zombie supporters.

Besides, the commander in chief has to have security at the core of his key decisions so if they genuinely have reasons to hold suspects along national security line then so be it!!!!!!

@ Op: I was of the people that believed Nigeria needed a new leader at the tail end of PGEJ regime. But what has changed since the new dispensation was installed? Little or nothing has changed. The current government started on a wrong footing by appointing many laggards as minister's just to placate few political friends. some few cerebral ones were also wrongly placed and thereby undermining their abilities. We need young and vibrant ministers and not archaic and sickly ones . Slow release of money for implementation of 2016 budget is also a big concern. Let the funds be released with proper monitoring. Most of the laudable plans of this government are languishing in the sphere of slow or no implementation. Let there be a timeline to any plan . Also, our present constitution is a big impediment to our growth and the fight against corruption. something urgent must be done on this. I have a lot on my mind but space won't be enough on this platform . In the overall, let the president select his battles , get proven technocrats and economic team to come up with home grown economic solutions, reform the civil service to make it more effective and efficient(government can reduce cost and generate more revenue by doing this), ,be honest in their communications with citizenry. God bless Nigeria .

No no no!! We are a nation of governed by LAWS not a nation governed by men. The moment a leader can keep somebody in jail just because he feels the person is a risk is the moment true democracy is lost. Please understand Buhari will not be there for ever. Tomorrow the next person may jail you or I simply because he 'thinks' we are a risk. It is not the presidents prerogative to decide who should be in jail and who should be free, that lies with the courts. That's the basis of separation of powers between the Executive, Judicial, and legislative branches and it's the very foundation of a modern democratic society.
