This is really not fair to the members... nobody heard their own part of the story.
I think this case is a set up by some disgruntled elements within the house.

Why part of the story? As someone who has been in their culture for such a long time, you must understand these letters and actions are very (very) serious indeed. However, the reputation of Nigerians as dishonest and corrupt people factors into all this drama - the maid and assistant making these allegations in the US have a lot more credibility than the Speaker Dogara who they know will not do anything tangible but side with lies, or come up with some BS letter. Yesterday when I read them threatening legal actions, I knew these set of Nigerians are just too naive! FYI, those allegations would have been week investigated before the US government wrote the letter and revoked their visa within one week. The maid and parking assistants might even have taken polygraph tests - and passed, so they know to an almost certain degree that the allegations are true.

These maids and parking attendant (delivery man in my recent experience) even refuse to accept tips (extra money for work, just $10) - who would you rather believe?

They were ten of them, why was only three accused of sexual harassment, it is a felony in US to solicit for sex, it is a felony in US to pay for sex, these guys messed up, they are bunch of animals, they were left alone because they came in as diplomat, otherwise they will be in jail right now. The worst has been done, to cancel their visas, the other he-goat bragging he is going to sue US government should go ahead, they can even trick him to come for defense and if found guilty he will rot in jail. US doesn't cancel visas in such circumstances rather they wait to apprehend the suspects on their next visit for possible trial hence I am suspicious of the step taken so far by US. This is a setup to tarnish the image of the pillar of Nigeria's democratic institution.

If the USA pronounced a guilty verdict on them believe me they would not have allowed them to leave the U.S. what they did is normal protocol. In cases like this the affected person is usually suspended in order to conduct an invitation.

I dare the 'dis-honourable members' to sue the US government, US Embassy in Nigeria and the Marriot Hotel...rubbish.

Before the US Embassy revoked their visas, they would have done extensive investigation into these allegations. If these 'law-breakers' are bold enough, they should carry out their threat. The issue is that US Justice system would have gotten a catalogue to information about these trios, which they can present in any law-court.

Does anyone remember the case against Dominique Strauss-Kahn, DSK, the former managing director of IMF involved in a sex-scandal in 2011.

These bunch of people think they are in Nigeria where they can talk to hotel-employees to organise call-girls for them. They are a disgrace to themselves, their families and office they held.

Nigeria should remove immunity to litigation at all levels. Nigeria should ban the use of diplomatic passports except for the President, VP and Senate President. So that our so called leaders will not hide under immunity to commit crimes.

It's absurd. These men were just hungry for love and sex.

They could have accepted and then apologize. Maybe the US would have pardoned them. But now their visas have been cancelled and could face some penalties.

I taught foreign trips have ben banned. They allocate the most juicy foreign training to themselves while core civil servants are left to attend in house workshops.

Make Dem investigate them. Am sure they are all guilty.
