the answer is 40, 1+4= 5
5+2+5=12
12+3+6=21
21+8+11=40

40 worked, although this is how I got 96
I have a weird way of thinking, don't mind me

I changed the plus sign to multiplication,after multiplying both numbers I add it to the initial number

eg. 1*4+1=5
2*5+2=12
3*6+3=21
8*11+8=96

That is what I did, weird right.
