Friday last week, I was chatting with my friend and she narrated how her sister's husband came in from work earlier than usual and one of his daughters (a five year old girl) went to play with him, she said the little girl is far much smarter than her age and asks lots of questions.
She played, talked, got tired and fell asleep on her dad's leg. Hours later their Mom returned from work and after dinner around 7pm, she went in with her husband and they locked the door behind them, that was when the little angel decided to wake up to go to her parents room. But she met the door locked and started knocking as always but they didn't open the door, my friend said she went and carried her to the sitting room but she refused and started throwing her questions.
"What is daddy doing? I want to play with mommy and daddy, why are they not opening the door, what are they doing that they don't want to open the door" my friend had to find an adequate answer to her questions so she told her that they are praying, so she should kneel down so two of them will pray too, the kid knelt down and they started praying unplanned prayer, she extended it but somewhere along the line, the kid got tired and stood up and went to continue knocking on her parent's door shouting that she wants to pray with them... Chaii!!
Sometimes you can't even be able to find a solution to their numerous inquisitive nature and they cause adults to lie a lot in the name of covering up some hard to explain situations. I know some of us has found themselves in tight situations as this..

Few weeks ago after church service, my 6yrs old boy came to me n said: mummy who will spend d money dat ushers have been collecting everytime? I told him it is for God. He siad ok, but where will they give him? C jamb question ooo. I had to quickly tell him that it is what they use in building d church.
