Those seen as poor people often find it hard to control their baby making tendencies. But most rich and very comfortable people have just 1, 2 or 3 kids, while you see those who can't feed having 5, 10, 15 kids.As for the cartoon above; I think the lady should have given her money with the pills, not only pills. we need laws that will restrict nigerians from giving birth at will.

the rate of procreation in this country is too much, it is only in nigeria u will see a jobless man, bragging abt having 7 wives, 45 children.... while in developed countries like the US, u see captains of industries having just 2 children and 1 cat.

not until the issue of procreation is addressed in this country, things will never change...

I understand times are hard and people need to put a check on reproduction but it's not in anyone's place to judge people's choice(s).

And then no one knows their story, maybe they used to live a decent life until the husband died and then the man's family kicked them out and cheat them off their inheritance and all. Until we know their story, we shouldn't condemn them.

It might also interest you to know that it could be that last child that will take the family out of poverty.

Next time you come across a similar situation, show them love by giving them money to survive another day and if you can't, just move on.

don't u think it would be more better to adequately provide for two children, rather than giving birth to 10 children, inadequately providing for them & expecting the last one to be the saviour of the family?
