There are many things that can cause a NO Sound output.
Pc falling on ground may cause the spk magnet to shift or cut Terminal connectors.
- if you always use 70-100% of the volume, may cause a tear or burnt Spk coil, or even over heating of sound O/p IC.
-Operating sys software up or down grade may cause no sound except you find a matching consumer pc sound card Driver software. ---The 3.5mm Head phone Jack can also cause a no sound especially if its recontact terminal have been taken over by algae, as their function is to disconect internal Spk when head jack is plug. Then you have to use cotton bud to clean by insertion into the hole. But loose pins can cause NO sound too, you can adjust same by carefully raising same.

Finally, Pls take it to a qualified service Technician as I cannot be held responsible for any damage.

The speaker might have developed a temporary fault and shall pick up itself ; also ; when you use external speaker /earphone for a long while could cause that .
