Residents Of Obosi Community Cry Out To Gov. Obiano Over Bad Roads And Threat Of Flood

To some residents of Obosi, community, a densely urban area in Anambra state, the fear of flood emanating from down pour when it rains and the attendant ill of gully erosion is the beginning of wisdom.

To this end the residents have cried out to Governor Willie Obiano over bad condition of roads in the area and the attendant ill of enhancing flood and erosion capable to displace some people saying that the situation gives them sleepless night.

A landlord and industrialist in the area Icihie Sir Gabriel Chibueze (Odu Nise) who spoke with
The Authority on the situation alerted that what would happen during rainy season is given them nightmare adding that unless urgent steps are taking by the government some residents may lose access to their apartments because condition of the link roads are likely to worsen by down pour,

Ichie Chibueze, the MD/CEO Chasmaz Pharmacy who gave a pass mark to Governor Obiano’s performance in two years most especially in the area of security in a letter addressed to His Excellency Governor Willie Obiano with a copy made available to The Authority informed the governor that the roads are bad and the down pour underway is likely to worsen them.
