After two months of endless wait for his return, residents of Otukpa community has discovered the decaying body of the kidnapped vicat general of Catholic Diocese of Otukpo, Rev. Father John Adeyi.

Adeyi was kidnapped on his way to Otukpo, from his country home, Otukpa, Benue state where he has gone to settle a case in the local church.
\His body was found in Otukpa on Wednesday morning.

this is so sad.

Nigeria is such a religious country with people professing to believe in God yet so many innocent people are being killed with innocent blood shed daily. there is so much innocent blood on the land crying for vengeance. so much injustice. people innocently cut down in their prime.

why would someone do this to a Priest for goodness sake? i can just imagine what the Priest had to go through in the final moments of his life.

how do these killers sleep at night? do they realise that they are placing generational curses on themselves and their lineage?

Two Sundays ago, a 70 year old Rev. Zach Osuloye and his 41 year old son were abducted in his residence at Isawo Ikorodu. He died the second day in the custody of the kidnappers while the son was released on Friday after collecting 1m ransom.
The old man's corpse was allegedly buried or maybe thrown into the waters by his abductors so the family of this Rev.Fr is lucky to have his corpse.
There was a country!

The reaction of the Catholic community to this will be serious

What exactly is your point? The post clearly states where he was coming from prior to his kidnap and where his remains had been found. Kindly look inwards to the source of such social menace at least in this instance.
