Well, as for me I thank God for this new policy.

Prior to now, if I was sent 100 Euros through Western Union I'd get like N24,000 equivalent.

Lo and Behold, I was sent 100 Euros last night, I just left Zenith bank banking hall now with N34,077.71 grin

I'm so happy the 1K Euros I'm expecting stalled since last two weeks and I'd get it next week, that's like close to N100,000 gain from what I would have been paid during the former forex policy.

As my Western Union agent in Zenith bank told me, that this is the best time to receive money through them grin

God bless the new forex policy
God bless me grin
God bless Buhari
God bless Nigeria

Buhari is working

i pity your blindness in this regard..
where did the added money on this flotation go??
whats is the actual exchange rate of naira to dollar N200 - $1 as they preach or N283.5 - $1?
how will govt reduce this increment?? this is no good news. the aim was to reduce the black market inflation.. and mathematically this is mere reduction of N20 in black market and transferred to CBN account by increment of more than N80. it benefits the CBN, disadvantaged the Hausa guys in BDC (cos they previously make abt 15,000 per a single dollar exchange! what an abnormal profit!) and also disadvantage many who still may not access the dollar in CBN and still fall back to those Northern guys who have colonized the BDC courtesy their brother sanusi..

you can contact bankers to tell you how bad the situation is.. Buhari is really working!

[s]Mor*on, you obviously do not understand economic fundamentals. CBN is manipulating the value of Naira by burning forex i.e. selling it. The true value of Naira relative to the dollar is much lower, i.e. Naira would exchange at much higher rate than currently reported if CBN were not propping it up. This kind of stupidity is appalling. You have access to internet but can not critically read and think before you make zombie comments. And more fools even like your comment! Shi*t![/s]

I don't see how this will help the naira in the long term....diversifying the economy will. At the moment we don't seem to b exporting anything except the remnant crude that's left from the niger delta area

Your own illiteracy is in high definition.

I meant financial jargons as their news(bloomberg) is hardly ever comprehensible to the ordinary man on the street.
But hate and senility no go ever let your type comprehend.

As for your zombie claim, i cant stoop to your level man.
I dont let pigs drag me to the mud.

Buhari has defined his presidency. He is not going to be a "Yes" President to the IMF and World Bank. That is more important than all these temporary set backs. By the way where have you seen people being liberated not grumbling? It happened during slavery when some slaves
preferred the masters' barn to the freedom offered them. And if history is anything to go by,

"
1Then they set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the sons of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departure from the land of Egypt. 2The whole congregation of the sons of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. 3The sons of Israel said to them, "Would that we had died by the LORD'S hand in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat, when we ate bread to the full; for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger."…Exodus 16:2

For those Christians complaining about CHANGE...There you have it.
